Pancreatic cysts are often discovered incidentally on CT or MRI. As mucinous cysts (including IPMN) have malignant potential and non-mucinous cysts do not, the initial challenge involves making this distinction. While serous cystadenomas are often microcystic and with central scar, mucinous cysts have thick epithelial walls that show isodense or hypodense enhancement on venous phase. Mucinous cystic neoplasms are most often solitary cysts located in the pancreatic body and tail and show no connection to the pancreatic duct and can have minor calcifications.
Basal Cell Carcinoma-Many basal cell carcinomas simply look like a small bump that has a pearl color to it. b. Phyllodes tumours are classified as benign, borderline or malignant.(1,6) The classification is based on multiple histological criteria.(1,6) These include, how defined the tumour border is, the amount of stromal cellularity, the amount of atypical stroma, the level of mitotic activity, the presence / absence of overgrown stroma and the presence / absence of malignant elements.(1,6) Q2 a. Management:
A brain tumor is defined as an abnormal growth of tissue that is in the central spine or brain and they have the ability to disturb the function of the brain.
