’BOO!’’ Jake screeched at heather as she came around the corner. “Knock it off.” She said pushing him playfully, “are you ready yet? “Um let me think, i've been waiting on you for three hours so..” He picked at her. They headed for the haunted house they visit every year ran by Drakes aunt who was now in the back seat along with Gabe and Liva. The weather couldn't of been better, all the leaves were orange and red as they glided down to their resting place. “Yes Drake we will find your aunt now will you calm down”, Jake said impatiently. The house were bare there hung no pictures or tables, not even a floor mat. The children uncomprehending the events to follow started the search. They all turned seemingly at the same time to see Drake pinned to the wall by several individual wooden spikes that were driven through his bone and muscle like a knife through butter. Each of these pieces begin to make the floor melt away. Now there were holes scattered from them to the door like a minefield. They heard an evil laugh protrude from the hole in front of them.”Jake what do we do,” “I don’t know heather.” The thing that had laughed emerged half way out of the hole. Across the front of his red and yellow jumpsuit it read SLAPPY in large blue letters. “Would you like to play a game,” Slappy said giggling. He disappeared down the hole and a large mallet was thrown from the hole to the feet of jake. “If you aren't able to give me a whack you will never come back!” Slappy chanted repeatedly from underneath the floor. Jake grabbed the mallet “Come on you coward show yourself.” Jake began to step around the holes in the floor. Then behind him three hole merged together creating a cavern. “JAKE RUN!” Liva shouted to him, but it was too late. Slappy appeared and began to drag him by his ankles into the cavern. Jake was able to hook the mallet on the inner edge of one of the holes holding on for dear life. This enraged Slappy. Slappy pressed the plastic flower on his chest causing acid to squirt on Jake's hands. Jake released the mallet and was dragged in the gaping cavern.
