Welcome back fellow readers and bloggers! I am still continuing on in the Sci-Fi book Cured, by Bethany Wiggins. Jacqui and her friends, who are now in a large amount of trouble, are still searching for Dean and Fiona’s mom. In my story there is large conflict including the antagonists, the raiders, and the protagonists, Jacqui and her band of friends. First off, Jacqui is a caring person, because in the story she gives up rations and medical supplies to the stricken survivors that pass her house. Kevin, one of the people she donated to, falls in love with her after he receives a heartfelt contribution of applesauce. Kevin wants to be with Jacqui, so he draws her and the rest of her group to his underground bunker. While on the other hand there are the ruthless raiders. They wear wretched clothing with blood splatters all over them. They beat and rape women for fun, while torturing helpless survivors. Raiders, who already destroy cities, now infect dogs and other animals with the vaccine that turns the into monsters. Jacqui and the raiders share no personality traits or …show more content…

Now that Jacqui has forgotten the cure, Bowen, Jonah, and Kevin must go retrieve it from the raiders. When Jacqui finds a telescope that reveals an insurmountable amount of raiders heading directly at Bowen, Jonah, and Kevin. She leaves behind Fiona and chooses to run and warn them. While running a raider spots her in the red sweatshirt and catches them all together. Although, Jacqui believes that Kevin betrayed her, but he didn’t because he is trying to protect her and get the cure back. While at the raiders headquarters she sees her brother Dean. Dean has changed his personality and no longer acts like her brother. Dean has ordered Jacqui and Kevin to be executed the next day. That night Jacqui tries to escape and is caught in progress.
