Natasha, your book The Cellar was very eye opening. The Cellar was very well written book, with many details. It also is a real life situation that many people fear. Being taken by someone has always been a fear to me. Because of this I really enjoyed this book, but I also had some small dislikes about it. What I liked was how her boyfriend saved her, and what I didn’t like was how lily acted at the end. Also I was conflicted with some characters. Going along with what I liked about The Cellar is when Lily’s boyfriend found her. Her boyfriends name was Lewis. Lewis probably felt so guilty about not being with Lily that night when she got taken. Lewis never gave up looking for Lily for the six months. He was determined and fathomed to find Lily. Even though the police were doing there best to find her he still kept looking. “you won’t give up, will you? We can’t give up, no matter how long it takes.” I was a little hurt she had to ask” (283 Preston). Lilly also didn’t give up hope on seeing him again. Rose, Violet, and Poppy made me upset at times. They also made me feel like they were a big part of Lily not losing hope. When Clover raped Lily she felt like she was not part of her body. When Lily just laid there Poppy came to her rescue. Poppy helped her to the shower, talked to her all placid, and made her feel better. “Lily.
