The character that i admired the most out of the whole book was Lily. I really admired lily because she had gone through a tough passed and even though she has gone through a lot of bad things between her parents and her she has still managed to keep a smile on her face and continued to be happy. Lily is a very strong person because besides all the things she had going on with her parents, she began to learn new things and in a different environment. She had it tough she had to keep on living knowing that she killed her mother, and that she had to spend the rest of her life with an abusing father. Tell me who would like to live in a house that will just bring horrible memories to you and then having to deal with you dad telling you that your mother never want to do nothing with you that she just left you, that's something really heart breaking. No child would like to hear such thing, especially when you know how it all went down. That's why Lily ran away because she was tired of her father telling her that her mother left her father and her way before she died. But Lily was not alone she was with the maid Rosaleen, she was like her second mother or something like that, but she helped lily so much. Even though she ran away she had met so many people and she had experienced so many things.
