Brutus's honor blinds his decision making and judgment of people. More over his idealism leads to his own downfall and suffers the consequences Brutus's honor works against him at times. When the citizens call him 'honorable Brutus ' the word honorable manipulates him. As well as when the citizens tell him to be the next Caesar this is where he is being mocked. His agenda for freeing Rome from a dictatorship is the cause of this where he does not plan the future well Brutus' inability to see things clearly come into play when he only sees the good in people. Brutus allows Mark Anthony to speak at Julius Caesar’s funeral. Mark Anthony begs for Julius Caesar’s forgiveness but has just shake hands with the conspirators, this makes Brutus and the conspirators look bad.
