Don’t Give Up “Don’t give up, don 't ever give up” the words that were said in the 1993 espys that gave many people hope. Jim Valvano was a man who lived by that quote and never gave up even though he passed away, he did not ever give up and that is why he had a positive impact. Some of the reasons Jim Valvano had a positive impact is that he started a whole charity funded by espn that has had more than 150 million dollars donated to it, he also helped motivate others to do better things with their time on earth, and finally he just gave people so much hope and inspired people with his story. When Jim Valvano was sick with cancer, he started a charity that was funded by espn, and was named the Jimmy V cancer foundation. The foundation has grown to the point that it is sponsored all through February on all espn networks.
Do you remember in kindergarten when the teacher would ask the class what they wanted to be when they grew up? The answers usually consisted of firemen, doctors, princesses, cowboys, or an astronaut. Then there was always the teacher’s pet who of course said they wanted to be a teacher (typical). Well college is a lot like kindergarten. Your advisor asks you,” what do you want to do with your life after college”, but this time the answers don’t come as easily.
Pete Rose, a voracious competitor, once said “Somebody's gotta win and somebody's gotta lose and I believe in letting the other guy lose.” Regardless of popular belief, Pete Rose is a role model that loved to win. Not only did he love to win but he loved to work and show everyone that he wanted it more than any other guy on the ball field. Pete Rose grew up in Cincinnati Ohio. Harry Rose, also known as "Big Pete", was not only father to Pete Rose but was a boxer, a semipro football player and a hometown hero.
What is a hero? A hero doesn't have to be a person that is in a movie and saves the world, or goes on adventures. It could be someone that is brave, or an inspiration to others. My hero is Mike Trout. He is a baseball player for the Major League Angles.
After college I plan on going to university to study
My goal with my college degree is to graduate with honors with a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice and eventually transition into law school within the state of Georgia. After law school, I plan to become a juvenile and immigration attorney in hopes of one day becoming a positive influence and defender for those without a voice. However, as a first generation college student, financially speaking attending college has not been easy. Surviving college would have been impossible without the support of my mother.
To be more specific, my career goals are to study business and accounting and then work for some sort of corporation
Do you have any goals? I have many goals, but I have three main goals. My goals are to graduate high school, go to a cosmetology college, and own a beauty salon. First, my goal is to graduate high school. Graduating high school won't be easy, but if I study hard and turn in my homework on time it will go by faster.
My plan is to have my very own successful healthcare facility. Taking care of families with little to no healthcare coverage. I want to be that example that others want to follow by. I plan to hire a group of individuals who loves their line of work and enjoy putting a smile on someone’s face.
As a result, over the following years, I developed a strong desire to gain the knowledge and experience necessary to obtain a career with the Department of State to fight international terrorism as a civilian. At the time, it felt like a long shot, as I had a great deal of work in front of me to make that type of career move. Namely, I was still in the process of achieving
This degree also has an increase at a rate fast then all other occupation and helps you have a solid outlook. One of the things I feel I will have to work on before I graduate will be to being in a strong, healthy and leadership role. It will get some use to being in this role but I know I will do it to my best ability. Some of the skills and behavior traits I feel would be administration, management, law, economics and policies and to learn how to obtain them very well to my best
I know what i want to do in life, i know what degree i need, what job i want, and how much my goal salary will be. I want to be remembered as someone who is very successful and worked hard for their money. My philosophy is, work hard to get to the top, but do what you love to get there. I hope to become a CEO, owner, or senior manager. In my opinion, i am a very good communicator, and i think i would do a great job respectfully but directly communicating and working with my employees to create the best most functional and profitable company that i can.
I chose this career path because I love working with people and positively impacting them. At college I will be earning a degree while learning how to adapt to life changes and bettering myself. After I earn my degree, my second goal is to raise a big happy family. By being financially stable with my own college degree, I will be
You’ve gone to school with a particular career in mind, but even if you’re out of school and can’t find a job, which happens to a lot of college student, you have more
One of my goals is to graduate with honors. When completing my Bachelor’s Degree one of my goals would be to attend the Great Plains Convention. After receiving a Bachelor’s Degree I would at that point pursue a Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology at Emporia State University. After receiving a Master’s Degree I would wish to open my own private practice and practice therapy for families.
