Picture being scared to go to school because of someone? To be afraid to get online because of what someone is said? To be afraid to live because of what someone is saying or doing. Be honest, how many times have people seen someone being bullied and just ignored it. That person watching might have thought they were joking with that person. So, what if what they are saying is offensive to that person and not a joke? Put yourself in their shoes. Currently bullying has become more than physical, but it is now verbal and through social media.
According to Webster dictionary, a bully, is habitually cruel, insulting, or threatening to others who are weaker, smaller, or in some way vulnerable. Most people think bullying is just physically, but that’s wrong. Bullying in this day in age is through social media and verbally. With the help of our peers, we can help conquer bullying.
When growing up parents taught about values. These values began to decrease when the internet became a hit. A new form a bullying came about. This type bullying is emotional and is recently new to this generation. It’s called cyberbullying. Technology have expanded to computers phones and tablets (Cyberbullying). Kids, don’t properly use technology the right way, but they abuse it (Cyberbullying). People are treating other people wrong, but instead of saying it to their faces they are hiding behind a screen. Cyberbullies aren’t just kids, but also adults. If adults use technology to attack someone, this
