Bullying has a special definition to me in my heart. Bullying to me is when someone knows that something hurts you physically or socially, but shows no remorse about it and are happy to make life miserable for you. Chris Walton who bullied me so bad that I cut my hair when I was in 3rd grade and thought that he would be able to get what he wanted because he had a dad that was a police officer, he was stronger than me, and I was an easy target. Bullying me just because I have long hair? That is a perfect example of a true bully at heart.

Thanks to Chris Walton I acted out of desperation and used my dad, Martin’s, old barber’s scissors to cut my hair which I did just so that I could try to fit in and not get bullied. After that, my dad having enough of this, goes to the school and talks to Chris. My dad started asking Chris “what has my son done to you Chris, your dad is a police officer and you are here physically assaulting my son Dylan?” Of course Chris tried to defend himself but there was no defending what he did. The next day, the principal Deborah Henwood made the awful mistake of sitting Chris and I in a room together and without adult supervision. Again as expected, Chris was trying to emotionally cut me in half but I wasn’t up for it. Finally, about a week later, Chris apologized and had realized what he did was emotionally and physically hurtful to me. Kids will always say and do what their parents say and do to them and this is why now, I don’t act impulsively. I also learned not take the phrase “turn the other cheek” that is told so often so literally. Well, I guess in my case it wouldn’t turn the other lip. I just know that there will always be that person who just wants life to be as miserable as
