Cyber Bullying Doesn’t Have Large Enough Consequences.

Should cyber bullies get away with being responsible for someone’s physical or mental problems or even death caused by them? They didn’t personally kill them if it comes to that, but they basically put the knife in their hand.
I believe that cyber bullies should get punished just as much as a murderer does if it comes to that. They pushed them to do that, why would you do that to someone? That, I don’t know. Even if it doesn’t come to that, they should still be punished, but not as crucially. Also if there are more extensive consequences, wouldn’t that persuade people to not do it? If stealing was legal would more people do it? Or child abuse? Or murder? Think about it, would they? Causing any sort of harm is not okay, and you should be punished for it. I think cyberbullying is just “gateway bullying” for cowards who have low self esteem so they can feel better about themselves, and when they do they’ll become a real ‘bully’ but not just in the world of high school, but in real life too. So is causing death different than just doing it? If a drunk driver is driving and they lose control, they tell them it wasn’t on purpose, because it wasn’t. Whether it be emotional damage, physical damage, or death. For any other reason it is illegal to hurt someone, but when it’s over the internet when the bullies are just ‘messing around’ it’s okay all of a sudden? No, it’s not, and I hope we can fix that. Bringing pain to someone is a horrible thing. The bully might need help too, maybe a therapist? You should really overthink this, I mean what’s the reason they would try to hurt a person?
