Ethan #10 In ROWVA Elementary there has been an increase in bullying. People are feeling hurt and left out because of this problem. Bullying can get very dangerous and life threatening, like suicidal thought because they want it over with, they could become a bullying when they get older, and more dangerous. There are lot’s of ways we can help.
Bullying is something most people go through, more than one out of five kids are reported to being bullied. In 2003 only 7.1% of children were being bullied then the number jumped to 31.7% in 2007. Parents and other family and friends think that bullies should be held legally accountable for their actions. Bullies are causing others to feel depressed and hurt. The bullies are making the victim feel worthless and not important.
I believe that people can handle bully and parent and teachers need to get involved in a situation. There are many different ways' people can handle bully. One of the ways that you can handle bully is to stand up to yourself and feel that you are brave and confident person. Kids some times stand up to their self and that is a right thing to do.
Bullying is seen all over the world in every school. I believe that bullying should not be apart of our world. Bullying not only affects kids who are bullied but it also has effects on bystanders and the bully themselves. The one person it affects the most though is the person getting bullied. It can cause them to have mental, physical, school, and health issues.
At school, children are being bullied starting at the age of five. There are so many preventions for bullying, steps that are no longer taken at school. Children are taught to be “independent problem solvers” so they are expected to fix most conflict on their own. It makes limited sense for that to be our solution when as educators we are suppose to be shaping them with strong morals and teaching them right from wrong. They are being bullied enough that they start becoming anxious, depressed, even committing
We can’t pretend that bully isn’t a thing. We need to fix this before it takes more kids life. Bullying is a lot bigger in schools its where it happens more. School is a unsafe place now for some kids. Kids need school to learn, to have a better chance of a better life.

Bullying is an undesirable, aggressive behavior among school aged children that involves actual disparity of power. According to Megan Brooks bullying is a serious public health problems, with significant short-and long-term psychological consequences for the child who is bullied and the child who is the bully. This only tells us that bullying can lead to difficulty that a certain children may experience and will have either short or long term problem. “Bullying has long been tolerated as a rite of passage among children and adolescents, but it has lasting, negative consequences and cannot simply be ignored.” Committee chair Frederick Rivera, MD.
Bullying has been named an “emerging public health issue requiring intervention” (Ansary, Elias, Greene, & Green, 2015, p. 27). As a major problem in schools around the world, the issue of bullying must be addressed in order to keep students physically and emotionally safe. The act of bullying not only affects the well-being of the person being targeted, but it also affects the rest of the school community too. It can be difficult for teachers, principals, and superintendents to make an ethical decision about what to do when bullying occurs because there are misunderstandings about what bullying is, leading to the improper identification of situations.
It is a serious and complicated problem in today 's schools. No one should go through the social bullying, cyber bullying or experience the long term effect like I have. There are many ways to prevent bullying like always communicating with adults about your problems, telling your friends or a family member. Also, the schools should involve all staff in helping to control it the best they can. Bullies think they are in control and can use your weaknesses against you to hurt you emotionally or physically.
Cyber bullying, physical bullying, relational bullying , there are so many ways that kids can get bullied, and you could stop it right now. It 's crazy just to believe that your bully was once bullied themselves. That 's why you should treat a bully the same as you would want to be treated. According to www.verywell.com, students may be bullied because of whether the victim is smart, popular, or if they have a different religion belief. A bully is way worse than a bystander because a bully could harm a person very badly, they could also hurt their feelings, they could make the victim commit suicide, and the bully could make the victim get to the point where they can 't trust their friends, or worse, their family.
Bullying Can Be Prevented Bullying is a form of violence to pick on victims because they are different from their bullies, have insecurity/jealousy or home problems. The hate towards their victim has something to do with the victim having an unusual gift or being intelligent the bullies has yet to become. It is important that this behavior should be prevented or it will become worse. Bullying is one of the main issues public and private schools have to face on a day-to-day basis. When the bully takes it too far, the victim snaps and retaliates by fighting him/her back physically or verbally.
Bullying in Schools What seems fun and harmless for some students, is painful and degrading to others. Bullying has been a critical issue around schools, but before it was not as dangerous and know as it is now. These do not means bullying was not happening, it means it was not taken into consideration by parents or teachers.
