Memo Introduction
As our corporation is considered expanding our business in Mexico, there are several business law concepts such as the legal, moral and ethical implication that is significant for this process. It is critical for us to master these concepts to have a successful business in different business environments. Therefore, I did depth analysis of these concepts that would help our expansion in Mexico to be successful.
Aspects of U.S. Law
There is various U.S law that company should be aware of to have successful business expansions in Mexico. First, we should make sure that we cover all aspects of North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) 1994. This trade agreement allowed free trade zone for U.S, Canada, and Mexico. The goal was to decrease trading costs and make these countries completive in the global marketplace (Amadeo, 2017).

This is one of the biggest free trade agreement ever signed. The purpose of this agreement was to lower trading costs and increase these countries growths in the global marketplace (Reuters,2016).
Third, Foreign Corrupt Practices Act of 1977 (FCPA)- Prohibits bribes to any foreign government officials related to a business deal. The FCPA also can prohibit this behavior anywhere around the world and including the Publicly traded companies and their officers, directors, employees, stockholders, and agents(www.sec.gov).
Lastly, the U.S Export Administration Act 1979 – restriction applies to exporting some good and technology to nations where the of national security, foreign policy, and short supply is in question (Donovan, 2014).
