Essay 1 Spencer Zindel Liberty University Online CSIS 335 10/25/2015 Introduction Everyday there are unauthorized users gaining access to networks and system they should not be allowed to enter. This trend is becoming more and more popular with each advance in technology. The field of network security is training users to stand in the way, and prevent, unauthorized users from being able to access these systems. Network security involves firewalls and virtual private networks, and it teaches users how to protect them from unauthorized users of any kind. There are also network security professions who can relate the world of network security to a biblical worldview. By seeing network security from a biblical world view, it can help users better understand why they are protecting other users. It may seem like network security and a biblical worldview to not mesh together, but network security does have a biblical worldview. Discussion Network security is about building strong networks that can withstand various threats from unauthorized users. The various threats include Trojan horses, distributed denial of services, phishing, and other malware.
