In Camille Parmesan’s essay, “Where the wild things were”, Parmesan makes an argument that there is nothing really wild anymore as human’s influence extends throughout the world. She discusses how humans have pronounced effects on nature, whether it be changing the environment to suit our needs to even climate change. This presents humans immense power over the nature we are also dependent on.
