Wondering how justice can be restored is a difficult idea, because justice does not have one simple definition. So, without a common ground definition around the world, the belief is that justice cannot be restored to the Israelis or Palestinian people. Two of the so called “solutions” that has been circling is the one state and two state solution. Some people have different outlooks on which one is better or not, but both of these haven’t even been tried. The only thing it has done is circulate gossip between lands. A huge thing that is overlooked is the outlooks and opinions of the Israeli and Palestinian people. It is them that has had to deal with the harsh repercussions of the conflicts between the lands. To start off with the positive side of the one state solution is that there are many, but it is not a solution to completely resolve the conflict enough to live in the same place and call the land “ours” instead of “mine” and “theirs.” One positive side that is believed is that they “can invest in new innovative things for peace to unite people with respect” (ProCon.org). Additionally, it will not destroy their plans and connections with international borders and the one state solution is a bold, new, and courageous decision to make. In comparison, the two state solution is also favored by other people. “The pros of the two state solution is that now it will eliminate the idea of the one state from the extremists to advance forward towards the people in Israel and Palestine” (ProCon.org). Another positive outcome would be the end to the long length of arguments and indecisiveness of the people. Yet, both solutions are far from perfect. The many negative things of the one state and two state solution, but no matter how many actual negatives there are, it comes down to the worse result of all which is not resolving the conflict.
