For example, peer influence, values and beliefs and the environment can have an impact on a person’s behavior. Peer pressure is common among teenagers in high school they begin to develop, and the people around them have great influences on what they decide. Also, Parental influences, guardians can have had a great influence on who people grow to be. Lastly, your environment or community; where you grow up or live, can influence how people behave. All of these things can increase the likelihood of violent behavior.

Additionally, many have tried to prove that peer influence has is a contribution to increasing violent behavior by stating, “The influence of peers and their acceptance of delinquent behavior is significant..”(Korach 1) Proving that youth are more susceptible to delinquent behavior, or even that they are influencing each other to be delinquents.
