Some people say no all drugs are bad and will hurt you and if it's legal it will mean more impaired driving. but a lot of people are saying yes it should be legal. here's why, cannabis can be good for a lot of different purposes like people with a disability, mental illness, or physical illness. And it can also be good for the economy and the environment. My first reason is that it has actually be proven to regulate violent outburst in autistic children, help with depression and anxiety, and in some studies it has shown to cure some types of cancer and other illnesses that are hard to cure. But anyway everyone is always complaining about how there isn’t enough money and taxes are too high right? Well legalizing weed can be a solution to that too if it is legalized there will be revenue from it and taxes will go down. There would be a lot of money to fix the roads, donate to public schools for textbooks and other supplies and even fun trips, pay off kids collage debt, and other great things all that extra money could be used for and also if we make it legal there would be less black market crimes and people wouldn’t be in jail for as many nonviolent drug crimes which would make taxes go down even more not having to pay for that many more people to be in jail. And also legalizing marijuana would create more jobs and there would be way less homeless unemployed people which is great because you’ve probably seen people on corners begging for money to buy food just because there are no openings
