Do you have someone in your life whom is suffering from an illness of some sort and just cannot catch a break? Do you know someone who has gotten in trouble with the law due to marijuana? Or is your state in any sort of debt? Most likely, one of these questions pertains to you. But, did you know that all of these issues can be fixed if marijuana was legalized in all 50 states? Although many people think that marijuana is a horrible drug, there any many benefits that we as American’s can receive from marijuana. Whether it be from taking the drug yourself, or just supporting it in general. First of all, marijuana has been proven in many, many different medical lab studies to help those who suffer from cancer, seizures, everyday pain, and even anxiety. There are different forms of marijuana and also many different ways that the drug can be used, from smoking to an oil. I think that if it were to be legalized here in my state of Illinois, then there should be a limit on it, like there is with alcohol, for driving purposes. Obviously, marijuana stimulates the body by sending it into a relaxation mode and this could be dangerous depending on the dosage you use. So, I think that it would be beneficial to have some sort of testing device just to be sure we are keeping everyone safe. But in the long run, helping people with severe medical related conditions, being able to free up jail space, and bringing in a larger revenue to the states would benefit everyone. In my opinion, every state eventually is going to have marijuana legalized because I am sure that all of this information has been brought to their attention before, but this is just a time taking process as the population grows and they begin to see a huge change in the total United States
