The moral of the death penalty is that when someone commits a heinous crime, they should be prosecuted in a way that is equal to their crime. Every year tax paying Americans spend a good amount of the money they make on taxes, what some of us do not know, however, is where that money is going. A good amount of our money is going towards the death penalty or capital punishment. However, the death penalty is not doing us any good considering the amount of money is spent on it per year. No, I don’t think torture is ever acceptable because it will never stop. The government uses torture to get information out of people that are a threat.
