Captain Kidd

¨Arrrr Me matey¨ some of the greatest pirates in the world were rich and had massive treasures just like Captain Kidd. They were also murders and robbers but there are still great stories about them. Captain Kidd had great story to go along with him.
Born in 1645 Captain Kidd was a famous pirate in the late 1600´s and early 1700´s. He started off as a privateer for the British taking and destroying French ships. On a mission to hunt pirates in the Red Sea regions he himself turned to piracy. He started to take and destroy any ship that came by. After many tries of taking ships he finally took a big ship the Quedagh Merchant this ship was fast and better than his other one. It also had alot of treasure onboard. After a few years word got to him that he was known as a pirate. He set sail to New York to plead his innocence. He got to New York and was put in jail and charged with murder and piracy. He was later found guilty and hung in London in 1701. …show more content…
