Have you ever wondered who was responsible for the sinking of the titanic? This is important, because it was one of the biggest sea disasters in the world. Because of the sinking of the titanic new regulations and safety rules have been made. I believe that captain Smith was responsible for the sinking of the titanic, because he was ultimately responsible for everyone on the ship. Now, I will tell you why captain Smith was responsible for the sinking of the titanic. One of the biggest reasons I think captain Smith was responsible for the sinking of the titanic, is because he ignored seven iceberg warnings. I understand that some people would say that it was Bruce Ismay's fault, because he was captain Smith's boss. But Captain Smith was ultimately in charge of the ships controls. If captain Smith were to acknowledge the first iceberg warnings then he could have put the ship in reverse, or turned the they wouldn’t have hit the iceberg.
