The Caribbean Islands In the entire world, there are obviously many countries that are amazing in their own way. There is a particular place, that I believe is extraordinarily beautiful. This place has warm sunny days, white sandy beaches for miles, and cool blue waters. This amazing place is the Caribbean Islands. The islands are a wonderful place to visit year round. There are many reasons to want to visit the Caribbean Islands.
One reason to want to visit the Caribbean islands is because of the people living there. The people who live there are very carefree and kind. The people of the Caribbean Islands usually relax on the beach and swimming in the ocean. In the Caribbean Islands, the electricity has a shortage for a few hours up to a few days quite often. When this happens, they do not lose interest in living there. Instead, they find things to do without electricity and just relax (Walkins). The people living in the Caribbean Islands also dress differently and wear different clothing. The people of the Caribbean Islands wear clothing that makes them feel not as hot. They wear this clothing because most of the locals are outside most of the time. So because of the warm weather, they like to stay nice and cool. In order to stay away from the rain, when it does rain, the people of the Caribbean Islands use shelter. A shelter on the islands is very different from a shelter here in the United States. For shelter there, they use huts made of mud walls, with bamboo posts, and a grass roof (“Everyday Life”). Most other homes and buildings are made like the ones you see everyday. The food is another thing that is unique about the Caribbean Islands. The food there is mostly seafood. The seafood is fresh caught from the sea. The food can be cooked any way you want it.
