One of the vast concerns Cirque was encountered with was discovering raw talent and keeping it. Ideally, most artists stay for three years, however, management is ecstatic to achieve one viable year from its performers. Being employed and working for Cirque de Soleil can be meticulous. A touring life could be a challenging transition for an artist because of the extreme diversity of not having anyone to relate to. Passion is a requirement for anyone to be successful with any skill or art. The performers that are employed by Cirque are required to have an open-mind to survive the life of a Cirque de Soleil employee. Most of the performers are full of passion and drive. In addition, the performers of Cirque de Soleil have playful and versatile attitudes. Before getting hired by Cirque del Soleil, every candidate must be prepared to understand the value of hard work. The recruiters of Cirque look for talent that is able to accept, and connect with a diverse mix of individuals. Cirque de Soleil makes is known that there is no room for any bias perspectives or prejudice characteristics. Cirque’s mission statement prides in inquiring its emotions and views of its employees.
