Case Study Of Cadet Dawking

276 Words2 Pages
On Oct 02, 2015, cadet Dawkins approached me (Sgt VanDyke), Sgt Cooper and Sgt Bradley as we sat in Sgt Bradley’s office. He asked if he could talk to us. After responding yes to his question, cadet Dawkins entered into Sgt’s Bradleys office and closed the door. Cadet Dawkins proceeded to say that he wanted to seek medical attention for his hamstring in which he injured in the second week of the academy. I cautioned cadet Dawkins if he went to the Doctor, he stood a chance of the doctor placing him on light duty and that would consequently exempt him from physical fitness training. I also advised him according to the Alexandria Regional Police Academy and POST rule; he could not miss more than three days of physical fitness training.
