I have chosen Blackbarrett’s trench coat by Neil Barrett as my final project product. Blackbarrett is famous fashion design made in Italy by a British man for men, women and the adolescent’s cloth from an accessible price point carrying all the trademark from Neil Barrett.

This was the beginning of Neil’s foundation of Neil Barrett’s label, which began in 1999. Neil’s label got an immediate success from both the press and the buyers. His first store which is located in Tokyo, Japan has his made his own name business only within a year. But the one most fierce competition Blackbarrett is Valentino’s trench coat. Trench coat is a raincoat made out of waterproof material. Both of the competitors’ brands create an ad campaign season after season on a catwalk fashion show. Big Idea / Central Concept
The main concept of my design of Blackbarrett’s advertisements that include two posters, a flyer and a TV commercial is to stress out the fine quality of the material used for the trench coat in completing its task as a trench coat. Blackbarrett’s trench coat is made of cotton and or poly blend. It will keep you reasonably dry and warm during rainy days. So, the idea here is to promote the art of keeping the customer dry during rainy season or for that matter, travel to a four season country. Blackbarret seeks to satisfy its customer and gives them a certain look of a high class people.
The message that Blackbarret sends out also concern about the design itself, a true masterpiece of modern timeless design. Customer would not need to change their trench coat just because the trend fashion is out of date because Blackbarrett’s design is a modern timeless wardrobe. Adults are targetted due to them working so that they can afford to spend it on Blackbarrett without worrying to have to change to another trench coat just because the trend design is out of
