How To Get Away With Murder Have you ever seen the TV show How to Get Away with Murder and wondered how many celebrities have murdered someone and got away with it? There have been plenty of celebrities that have committed a crime such as a murder or a tragic car accident. Due to their celebrity status many of those cases have been dropped and got no justice. One of those many celebrities is famous football player Ray Lewis. Ray Lewis was found not guilty for stabbing Jacinth Baker and Richard Lollar due to his celebrity status. Casey Anthony was found not guilty for murdering her daughter Caylee Anthony. Caylee Anthony was only two years old when she unfortunately passed away. Caylee was reported missing on July 15, 2008 but on December 11, 2008 her remains were found in a trash bag. On July 7, 2011 Casey Anthony was found not guilty in 3 counts including first degree murder but was found guilty of 4 counts because she provided false information to law enforcement. We all remember the O.J Simpson murder case as the most publicized criminal trial in American History. Nicole Brown Simpson, Simpson’s ex-wife, and Ronald Goldman were murdered on June 12, 1994. Simpson went on trial and with the best lawyers he could get his hands on which included Robert Kardashian. On October 3, 1995 Simpson was found not guilty for the two murders. This news shocked all of America where approximately 100 million people watched and listened to the verdict being announced. On July 13, 2001, nine year old Jorge Cruz Jr. was struck by the vehicle Rebecca Gayheart was driving. He died the following day from his injuries. On November 27, 2001, Gayheart was found not guilty for the tragic accident. She only got three years of probation, one year suspension of her license, a $2,800 fine, and 750 hours of community service.
