Some estimate that it happens a few times a day in this country and at least 1000 times in a year!” Casey Anthony, mother of two year old Caylee Anthony, attended the courtroom for about two and a half months for being accused of murdering her daughter. Casey was the headline in every news article and the spotlight of the world, she was arrested in 2008 for murdering her daughter. When police investigators searched through her records and computer history, they found something odd, her history consisted of searches like “How to make chloroform” and “Neck breaking” so why would she look this stuff up for no intentions? After a 10 and a half hour meeting, they absolved her on the charge of murder and only found Casey Anthony guilty of perjury. The verdict exasperated American society. America felt pity towards Casey and had no sympathy for her mother. Everyone who listened to the case all over the world was shocked by this verdict of the jury, all of the evidence, the surrounding the murder of the child was indicated only one person, the girl's mother, Casey therefore, this evidence was just enough for the jury to plead a guilty verdict. After this case, many americans believed that the justice system in America failed completely and In this case it was almost impossible to bring forward charges under articles regarding the death penalties It wasn’t optional to produce the first degree murder. Other than the fact that almost everyone was against the sentence, which the jury finally said, there were opposers who thought that there definitely was not enough evidence to convict Casey Anthony of murdering her own daughter. As crazy as that sounds, the case itself was compelling enough to pass it on to the jury, thus the jury could make either decision, is she guilty or not, It all depends on which one you believe in a jury trial.
