The Black Death was a deadly disease that rampaged through Europe and emerged in the 1340’s. However, large portions of the known world experienced the pandemic as well. The disease was found to have originated in the modern country of Kyrgyzstan. When infected, victims endured fevers, chills, vomiting, and large black lesions (which looks like a huge bump) among other things. The Black Death had a variety of causes that all played their parts to make the disease rampage throughout Europe. In numbers this was 75-200 million people, an astounding number that ultimately led to chaos. This statistic shows the severity of the disease’s impact on Europe.
