The history of human beings saw very destructive pandemics known as the Black Death. It led to the death of millions of people, and reached its zenith in the years 1346-53 in Europe. The main reason behind it, still remains an unanswered question but the major cause is considered to be the pathogen named “Yesinia Pestis”which was found in the DNA of the victims. It was in the year 1343, when this plague reached Crimea through the oriental rat fleas which lived in the merchant’s ships. It established to kill 20-60% of Europe’s population. And was spread across Mediterranean and Europe. This plague led to series of social, religious and economic, upsurge and had profound effect on the history of Europe.
