The Tulsa Race Massacre, the reasons for the name is because it was a deadly race massacre. Tulsa Race Massacre included a big group of angry white racist people attacking, robbing, and destroying the black residents and their businesses and homes. What were the causes of the Tulsa Race Massacre? The Tulsa Race Massacre was because of discrimination and racism and pure hate.

One of the things that led to the Tulsa Race Massacre was discrimination. Discrimination is a problem of the past, present, and future meaning there’s always going to be some sort of prejudice against anyone based on skin color, gender, age, disability, or sexuality no matter what. But the discrimination that caused the massacre was based on race which is why race is used in the name of the event. The white mob was simply prejudiced against the black residents that resided in the town of Tusla so they decided to act on this unjust prejudice and destroy the residents' lives. Racism is also something that will always exist because there are always small-minded people who have an intolerance for people of different races. Racism also played a big role in this event because the white mob was biased against the people that lived in Tulsa, and it seems that since mostly black people died during this event racism could have played a part in this horrible massacre.
