Challenges facing are young people today are the same they for a long time. One major one is being a single parent. Today about 14 million single parents live in America today. Being a single parent is hard for the child to go to school and the parent to go to work. Two parent is a lot better for a child.

Sometimes if the parent is single, the parent will stay at home with the child. Parent not have jobs is another major problem. Parent at a young age not having job can lead to drug on the street. Parents need to have a good job so they can make it through life. Single and unemployed parents are a big problem in America.
Two other major problems are kids bring guns to school and drugs. Drugs at school are a big problem at high school mainly.
