School Lunch menus need to be changed. Many schools plan on changing their lunch menus. When changing school lunches many students will lose some of their favorite foods. When the schools do finally decide to change the lunches, it needs to be a change for students, they need to be healthier and it needs to be something different for students. Although many students agree that school lunches need to be changed, many feel the opposite. When changing a school lunch menu students are going to lose some of their favorite school lunches. Many students do not care for change in their everyday lives, but a great place to start is in our school foods. When suggesting to change school lunches i feel it is a smart idea. School lunches a lot of the time are frozen foods that need to be heated up and are fast, easy meals that do not take long to prepare. I know that i am sick of eating the same old foods week after week. So changing our lunches will be something new, and change can be a good thing. Another reason I feel it is smart to change school lunches is that we need healthier foods in our cafeterias. We have some healthy foods such as salads and fruits. Schools need to serve less of the junky foods like pizza and fried chicken, and burgers; and in turn should cook foods like fresh pastas, or even change the techniques of preparing foods like instead of frying, bake. Even changing the salads up would be a fantastic idea. Cafeteria ladies or men could make different salads like caesar, or tuna, turkey, ham and even chicken salads not just one kind of salad everyday. They could even change up the fruits they offer instead of peaches and mixed fruits that are canned, they could put out fresh fruits such as; strawberries, watermelon when in season, and
