Imagine being on a vacation to a national park that has five islands connected to it.. These islands where formed about fourteen million years ago.In the 1930ś the islands where barley being considerd to be turned into a protection area for a monument which is now the national park,of the channel islands .The channel islands faced one major problem which was the oil spill.Visiting the channel islands you can have a beautiful view of all the islands and see all the marine life and different kinds of floral species. The channel islands national park is different from the lassen peak national park because,the lassen peak national park is known for having all four types of volcanoes in the world and has twelve amphibians that inhabit this park. The lassen peak national park was created to cover the damage areas of the land and maintain the volcanic features.Lassen peak is in the eighteen-chain of the largest volcanoes in the united states.Lassen peak also is known as the largest plug dome volcano in the world and the southern volcano in the cascade range.There is twelve amphibians all together that are living in the national park they both can generate their own body heat.There is two separate groups of the amphibians there 's the frogs and toads,and then there is the newts and salamanders.The newts and salamanders spend most of their time hiding to avoid the heat.
