12. Headship of Adam Romans 5:12, 15

Adam's presence in the Garden of Eden was without sin until the Fall. Adam and Eve had perfect obedience then as a consequence of their actions, sin entered their lives. Because of this sin, "death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned.". But God had a plan with the grace through Jesus Christ. In v.14, Paul introduces the two men, Adam and Christ ("him that was to come"). Through Adam we had the act of sin, his offence, through Christ we have the one righteous act on the cross that came with the free gift of grace. Adam's action was one of disobedience, eating the forbidden fruit. Jesus Christ's action was one of obedience, dying on the cross. With Adam's action, the result
