Within these chapters I have read, I have learned about the ways of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob and learned how their lives were shaped by Jesus. Also reading on, I also learned that the goal of us being created, is redemption. God is revealed in a way that he is our redeemer but also a God who comes close to the poor and is with the brokenhearted. He is a God that sees everything. He is a God who is fully committed to his promise, and helps the town people out no matter their situation. Leviticus is one of the chapters where we learn and see God reveal himself and his plans for our life and work. The book of Leviticus is the truth that God is holy and perfectly good. We also learn about the holiness in Leviticus, we learn that it’s not about the individual’s behavior but what each person does to affect the people of God in their life. As humans, we are called to be God’s people and every day that reflects us. At school, work, home, everywhere. Also, how we recite prayers, practice scripture, or even just being nice. God never once mentions the priests …show more content…

While we are often so caught up every day and temptation is often a thought, we must always remember to love our God by respecting the ten commandments and just spreading love. We learn in Exodus from the verse “You shall have no other Gods before me”, we must recognize that God is the creator, and he knows right and wrong and we must always remember to put him first in everything we do. We must also honor his character. We must never forget the grace, love and faithfulness through the hard times and through the good times. Another thing I really took away is to live a moral life. Throughout Exodus and so many other books we see the list of actions Jesus gave us through evil thoughts, murder, envy etc. But we must also remember God is someone who is forgiving, and we see that through Moses. Moses was the man chose during redemption by his people and God specifically chose him. We learn that God did it on his timing not his and not Moses timing. I also learned that when we attempt to do things in our timing instead of God’s, we make a bigger mess then necessary which leads to more
