Suddenly The Givers cold laid upon Jonas. In a flash Jonas was in a place filled with the colour, ‘yellow sand’, came to mind. It was a place external to him. “This is such a weird place!” He thought. Jonas has never seen a place like this before. Jonas noticed the ground was different and bent down and touched it. It felt bristly. He looked at the eye-opening horizon, there was a ‘sun’ in the sky. Then a word came to the tip of his tongue ‘desert’.
Jonas saw the place was reticent. But then Jonas saw something soaring in the vast blue sky. It was flapping in circles near the blazing torrid sun. A word came to mind ‘bird’.
