But at the last second it is announced that they both won. President Snow was not amused by this rebellious act so before Katniss and Peeta go on the victory tour, six months after the games, where they visit all 12 districts through Panem and give speeches to each districts people, president Snow speaks with just Katniss in private and threatens that if she doesn't convince him and the rest of Panem that her and Peeta are madly in love there would be dire consequences

Suzanne Collins, the author of both The Hunger Games & Catching Fire. The main theme of both stories that stuck out the most is Rebellion. Why you ask? Well let me explain. Throughout both of the stories, the state of Panem has been under constant rebellion both with major & minor acts of defiance.
The movie “ The Hunger Games, Catching fire,” is part two from the first movie. This movie is based on Suzanne Collin’s trilogy novel “The Hunger Games.” The only way to understand this movie and the plot of catching fire, you have to have a good understanding of the first movie of the trilogy. In the first “Hunger Games” movie, the totalitarian country of Panem is described as a country divided into 12 districts and a capital city-the capitol. Every year the Capitol hosts the Hunger Games which there a 24 different tributes from each district.
One of the largest reasons for Katniss’s survival would be her caring personality and how it is able to affect those around her. At this point in the book, District 12 had just started their reaping, which is a lottery of sorts and Prim has just been picked. The text states on page 21-22, “There must have been a mistake. This can’t be happening.
The question ask, which person has more of an impact on Katniss’s survival in the games. Gale or Peeta? To an extent, it is both of them. Gail tough Katniss how to set traps and how to provide for her family when her mom could not, and how to use what little she had, although Peeta did help Katniss when she got stung by tracker jackers by telling her to “RUN”.
At this point in the story, they have finally reached the surreal moment of winning the Hunger Games. In chapter twenty, page three hundred and forty five, the text states," '... A game show is held annually by the capital of Panem, in which they take one boy and one girl from each district, chosen by lottery to compete in the game.
Katniss learns how to be more selfless and not let coming from district 12 define who she is and what she can do. Katniss is a strong, force,and selfless charter who the readers can see a little bit of themselves in her as she develops through the story.
