One of the twenty-five ways to ruin your life is to become some obsessed with not spending your money that you forget about the wonders of life. This can happen to anyone because let’s be honest, who does not want more money. It is okay to save money so long as you do not let life pass you by in the process. There are many people who may start saving money young and grow old saving and in the process become mean and in up living a distasteful life. It doesn’t matter where you live or how old you are, if you do nothing but save you will have a awful, boring, uneventful life. The story the Christmas Carol is a great example of how mean you can get from carring about nothing but cash. In the story there is an old man named scrooge; this guy is the meanest old bat you have ever seen. Scrooge does not want anything to do with anybody or anything except his cash. The old bat’s workers never get raises or Christmas bonus and are not allowed to work overtime. The man does have so class though, he owns wealthy looking suits and has a huge mansion. Krabs from Spongebob Squarepants, who is kind of mean, but not as bad as old Scrooge. Mr. Krabs is the owner of the finest restaurant in the Bikini Bottom, but he is cheap and if the Krusty Krab was not the only fast food place around that tasted good, then he would not have as many customers due to overpricing everything. The quite literal old crab does not even allow free refill or anything free for that matter at his establishment. Spongebob is one of his workers in fact his best, the young boy has helped Mr. Krabs out of a lot of tight situations and still the boy has not gotten a raise.
