What if your best friends future lied in your hands? If it were the matter of prison or freedom. A sick plan that ended the life of a five-year old boy. What would you do? In the novel, Red Kayak Brady Parks is faced with the toughest decision in his life. Weather or not to prove his best friends Jeremy Tyler, and Michael Griswold guilty. He has the evidence, but struggles to come forth with the truth. Throughout the novel Brady devolves a strong connection with his new neighbors, one a five-year old boy (Ben) of whom was a victim of an unintentional act of murder. The act was introduced by Brady. He proposed the boys drill holes in the kayak, thinking of a humorous outcome of Mr. DiAngelo all wet. Digger, extremely envious of the DiAngelos' investment in his grandfathers estate, takes Brady's suggestion, and puts it into action with the help of J.T. Although Brady Parks did not take action in carrying out the murder of Benjamin DiAngelo, personally I believe the state of Maryland should press charges against Brady Parks because of his recommendation on drilling the holes in the kayak. He had planted the seeds of revenge in his friends minds when he proposed the idea of drilling the holes into the red kayak. Negative thoughts raced through Brady's mind.
