Welcome back fellow readers and bloggers! I am still continuing on in the Sci-Fi book Cured, by Bethany Wiggins. Jacqui and her friends, who are now in a large amount of trouble, are still searching for Dean and Fiona’s mom. In my story there is large conflict including the antagonists, the raiders, and the protagonists, Jacqui and her band of friends.
Madeleine L 'Engle a French author created a blend of science and fairy tale magic for developing the story line in her book A Wrinkle in Time. The book is one big journey with three main characters. From the beginning Meg, Charles Wallace, and Calvin go on multiple adventures filled with fun, crazy, exciting moments. This book is completed with many obstacles in the way of the trio. A sure perspective that is extremely predominant in this book is love.
Family: You Never Know What You Have Until it is Gone Throughout the memoir “A Long Way Gone”, Ishmael told how he lost his family in war, through this experience he realized that his family is crucial to his happiness and well being, he also learned that he could form other family bonds with different people. “I wanted to see my family, even if it meant dying with them” (Beah 109). The definition of a family is not limited to blood relation, other loved ones can be family as well.
Ponyboy Curtis is a teenage boy who learns valuable lessons about life. Although, he is the one who stood out the most to me in the book, “The Outsiders.” He is the youngest brother out of the little family they have. He has the most dramatic changes, in his feelings and attitude. Ponyboy’s reasoning for his changes are by the forces of the Socs.
A name, in theory, is a word or phrase that helps you recall a person or thing. In practice, a name also helps one recall the person’s or thing’s reputation. In Arthur Miller’s The Crucible, the characters’ decisions emphasize this quality. Not only does the name include the reputation and legacy of the people they identify, the characters’ choices and behaviors in The Crucible are motivated by the preservation of their dignity and the reputation associated with their names. By assessing the choices made, the inner personality traits of each character can be seen.
People tend to be judged by how others perceive them to be, rather than how they actually are. This statement is shown in the play, Inherit the Wind by Jerome Lawrence and Robert E. Lee. One example from the play in which this type of unfair judgement is displayed is when the news of Henry Drummond being the defense attorney for Bert Cates was announced. “Henry Drummond, the agnostic… A vicious, godless man… Henry Drummond is an agent of darkness.
Mark Character Analysis The quiet ones are the dangerous ones. That is the case when it comes to Mark Kinney, the mastermind behind the plot to kidnap Mr. Griffin. In the book Killing Mr. Griffin by Lois Duncan, Mark is a malicious, sullen and charismatic character.
“As usual, she was broke, dumping single dollar bills, change, pennies on the counter to pay for the one-way ticket to Ohio. As I stepped on the bus she squeezed a bunch of bills and change into my hand. ‘That’s all I have,’ she said. I counted it. Fourteen dollars” (McBride 189).
According to the play’s story, Troy Maxson is the main character of the play. He is a bit of a complicated character. He is a very stubborn, self-centered person who lives in his own world. He created his own illusions and lived in them. Troy’s actions throughout the play are influenced by his way of thinking, broken child hood, and past mistakes.

As a teen age boy who wants to find the secrets his girlfriend who left behind all these mysteries after her odd disappearance. It also tells about the lost gothic girl, Anna Cayne, who meets the young high-school aged narrator. Throughout the postcards, a shortwave radio, various CDs, and many other irregular interest.
“The Outsiders” is a novel written by S.E. Hinton. Originally Published in 1967, Hinton was only 18 when her novel hit the shelves. Instead of using her real name Susan Eloise Hinton, she used her initial’s so people wouldn’t know she was a girl making the book less desirable. The Outsiders is considered a cult classic and is typically assigned reading across the U.S. She always loved reading but did not like the books they had for young adults
Aspirations are life goals that most people are looking to achieve. Arnold(Main Character) has many different aspirations, but for him it's hard to achieve them because he lives on an Indian Reservation where they have poverty,Alcoholism,and very poor education. Arnold aspires to go to college and be a cartoonist, in order to achieve this aspiration he must leave the reservation and transfer to Rearden(an all white school) which also causes him to lose his best friend from the reservation. While Arnold was telling Rowdy(his best friend) that he was transferring to Rearden, Rowdy didn't take it to well and told him “you always thought you were better than me didn't you”. Arnold's experience at Rearden he punched the alpha dog in the face,
Character Sketch on “The Robe” In the story “The Robe” by Lloyd C. Douglas, Marcellus Lucan Gallio, a Roman Tribune, who has done his public duty carries out the Crucifixion of Christ and wins Christ’s garment in a game of dice. Marcellus has abandoned the worship of Gods, unlike his noble servant, Demetrius, who desire to keep the Robe, felt his enslavement to Marcellus is a participation in the destruction of Jesus and escapes with the Robe. As the story progresses, Marcellus guilt at the role he played in Christ’s Crucifixion has been troubling him, he then sets forth on a quest to find the truth about the Nazarene’s robe. Over time, Marcellus quest reaches to the very roots and heart of Christianity and is set in a spiritual longing and ultimate redemption.
Runner Essay Charlie faces many challenges in the novel ‘Runner’ and generally overcomes them by making the right choices. The novel Runner is a novel written by Robert Newton which describes life in Richmond, Melbourne in the 1919. The novel follows the protagonist, Charlie Feehan, as his family and himself struggle with the effects of poverty, corruption and sorrow.
1. The Perks of being a Wallflower is a story about a high school freshman named Charlie. Through the entire novel Charlie is writing letters addressed to an anonymous friend. In these letters, he talks about his journey throughout his first year in high school. Where he experiences everything for the first time – first dates, family drama, drugs and new friends. In other words; growing up.
