Robin Sharma once said, “Change is hard at first, messy in the middle and gorgeous at the end.” This quote really relates to Sal because when her mother left she was a mess and it was hard for her. Later, she moved and more things changed and things happened that she didn 't expect to happen. Although, in the end she was happy in Bybanks and happy with her family and friends. In the book Walk Two Moons, by Sharon Creech, Sal changes significantly from a lot of external forces in her life.

The Logans were fortunate to own their own land during these more racist and oppressed times so it was important to the family. The land could have been used to represent hope or the freedom the Logans had in the novel.
The Moon is Down is presented as a tale of invasion and conquest that narrates the story of a village being “friendly attacked” by military forces during the time of World War I. Steinbeck, the author of the novel, describes each character in a very particular way. Also, he classifies them into two sides: invaders and townspeople. Even though there were significant differences among the townspeople they all were connected by the same feeling which was the desire of taking control of the situation. For instance, Joseph plays an important role within the story as he is most of the time present in the conversations. He seems to have an obsession with putting everything in its place and worrying about the chairs right orientation.

Through A Long Way Gone by Ishmael Beah, Ishmael’s perspective of desire was altered dramatically. These desires were changed from his surroundings or events that were taking place. In the book, Ishmael was easily manipulated by his desires.
A Raisin in the Sun by Lorraine Hansberry is a play which contains many different obstacles that the characters face. One character, Beneatha, faces an obstacle that is out of her control. This obstacle is gender inequality. Throughout A Raisin in the Sun, gender inequality is experienced by Beneatha and reflects the struggles women faced in the 1950s. One of the issues that Beneatha faces in the play is her relationships with two men in her life, George Murchison and Joseph Asagai.

In the play Raisin in the Sun written by Lorraine Hansberry takes place on the southside of Chicago where Walter and his family are racially profiled and show us how the survive throughout their struggles. The central struggles for the younger family in their search for the American dream is mostly poverty and being racially profiled against for their actions. Hansberry challenges the traditional gender roles and issues of dominance throughout the play when Mama gives Walter lee the rest of the money at the end of the play. He becomes all excited and was supposed to save some for himself and put the rest of the money to Beneatha 's education. Instead, he gave all that money to Willy another character in the play which later on that he stole from him.
Walt Masters and Farah Ahmedi they show their compassion by helping others and fleeing off to find safety, and other people are thankful for those acts. Masters demonstrates bravery when he made it to Dawson with Loren Hall to save Loren Hall's claim. Farah Ahmedi shows compassion because she had the courage to find a person to help her on her journey. She lasted the long walk and the terrible circumstances like her prosthetic leg, to escape Afghanistan. These two characters share compassion, bravery, empathy, and kindness to all people.

Luis, the main character in Judith Cofer Ortiz’s short story, “Catch the Moon,” experiences the agony of losing his mother and not being able to confront his grief for three years. This short story explores the topic of being able to do good once again only after confronting the bad.
The movie Moonlight follows the story of the character Chiron, as he transitions through three main stages of his life beginning with him as a poor little boy from Miami, followed by his adolescence, and lastly his life as young adult. Throughout his childhood and adolescence Chiron is often teased and called homophobic slurs by the other neighborhood kids. The movie is about Chiron learning how to cope with the different struggles in his life such as his sexuality, his relationship with his mother, falling in love, and heartbreak. In this paper I will be analyzing the character development of Chiron in his three stages of life as well as Kevin’s character. I will also be analyzing the fighting scene in act 2 and the genre of the film.
However, the moon also carries “the first few stars,” showing that in the midst of darkness their is a glimpse of light. Although the speaker is always left sad when mother visits, the speaker also feels a little love that a mother rightfully possess. The moon came only to visit with no intention to stay. It comes and go and is headed to the “northern sky”. The moon passes the room as path to her intended destination.
What did you like about this script? There were so many great points about this script that I enjoyed. The story is engrossing, dark, ominous and exciting. It was hard to pull myself away from the script to even take notes.
