A major character, Mr. Weems, in the book December Stillness by Mary Downing Hahn dies near the end of the book in what seems like a tragic accident but even though his death was tragic, it was not an accident. He intentionally walked out in front of the car which struck and killed him. December Stillness is a novel about a girl named Kelly who tries to get to know and understand a man named Mr. Weems, who is severely haunted by the acts which he and others committed in Vietnam and who would come daily to the library to read books about the war. Due to the trauma of the war and losses he suffers during the course of the book it is clear that Mr Weems death near the end of the book was not an accident.

Case is one of the top three characters who is essential in completing the mission because his hacking skills are incredible. He is known as one of the best cowboys in the Sprawl. Additionally, “He’d been trained by the best, McCoy Pauly and Bobby Quine, legends in the biz” (5). Without Case, Wintermute’s goal would have mot been achieved since it is Cases hacking skills that successfully got the team passed the obstacles. For example, without Case the team would have not been able to hack into Sense/Net to steal a computerized personality recording of the Dixie Flatline.
In the end, Case meets the merged Wintermute/Neuromancer to learn that the program has now grown to encompass the entire matrix. Case is uncertain what it means, but he does establish that some version of himself also exists in cyberspace, perhaps within the new AI. The novel ends with Case

The use of children in the Sierra Leone Civil War was widespread, with up to 10,000 children taking part in the conflict and up to eighty percent of RUF forces between the ages of seven and fourteen. Ishmael is one of these children. In his memoir, A Long Way Gone, Lieutenant Jabati and his men exploit several techniques to transform these frightened children into ruthless killing machines. They do this through the use of drugs, pop culture, as well as character and emotional manipulation. Tactics like these create habits and addictions that are almost impossible to break.
In my geometric character analysis I analyzed Paul and Erik Fisher. Paul and Erik are brother that have a kind of broken relationship. Paul is the main character in the story while Erik seems to be praised by both his parent because of the “Erik Fisher football dream”. Erik seems to be always in the background causing mischief without the parents seeing it while Paul is just trying to get through 7th grade. I made Paul an octagon colored in light blue that fades into an orange.

Most of Vladek Spiegelman has many (strange) personality traits. He can be headstrong, stingy, short-tempered and even borderline racist at times. As the reader reads through Maus I and II, it is learned that most of these things about him stem from his experience being a Holocaust survivor and living through World War II. Before the war, he didn 't exhibit these traits. With his first wife Anja, he is undoubtedly kind, compassionate, and wealthy.

There are many characters in Beastly but one of the main protagonists is Lindy. Lindy is a smart, beautiful high school female. She changes throughout the story and is put into difficult situations. Before meeting the Beast, Lindy’s life wasn’t very eventful and she wasn’t popular or well known. Just like you and me, Lindy has good and bad moments.
Where the Wild Things are by Maurice Sendak is an interesting children’s picture book. The main character is a little boy named Max, who has a wild imagination. He uses all five senses as well as thought and his actions to express his personality as well as how he reacts and interacts with his surroundings. Max’s id, ego and super-ego are greatly shown in this book through the way that the author has portrayed him. Not only is this book a children’s story, but it can also be perceived as a life lesson.
