Life will push you to your limits, and to pull yourself from the mighty brink, stronger than ever, brings great satisfaction. Cheating this test proves detrimental as the cheater gains nothing, and the thing gained is a reliance on others to pull them up after a grueling ordeal. I had no one to rely on other than myself during the last week of September. Countless work hours, numerous Pre-Calculus problems and notes, nineteen time and energy consuming physics assignments, and an exhausting first news story. When the schedules for work released I saw I that I worked every day that week. Great, I have even less free time to attend the funeral of my free time. I would wake up at 6:50 a.m. for school; then, I would serve the elderly at the Homestead until 7:00 p.m. Time became a rare commodity. Rushing through watching videos of Pre-Calculus notes became a daily chore. I would chug through the mountains of Pre-Calculus homework. Gradually I finished the Physics assignments that would be when the week took its last breath. The news story required me to write in AP Style, to organize my paper using a new method, and to interview two individuals. Late nights, with eyelids weighing like a whale, were a necessity, and my lamp shone a brilliant radiance over my bleak situation.
