When fall comes around, one sport pops into many peoples mind, football. Many people watch football games, but don't realize the other sport going on, cheerleading. Football and cheerleading are two sports that work with each other. Football players are on the field while cheerleaders are on the sidelines. Football and cheerleading are very different in ways such as what they wear to games, what they do, and what they throw. Football and cheerleading are very similar in ways of they are both very dangerous, their practices, and why the athletes do it.

One of the most obvious differences are their uniforms. Some of the things football players are required to wear are a helmet, shoulder pads, gloves, cleats, padded pants, a mouth guard, a padded girdle, and of course their jersey. Most of these things are just for the safety of the player. Cheerleaders do not have to put on nearly as much stuff on. All cheerleaders must wear is their uniform top and skirt, spankies, cheer shoes, and of course their bow.
