When the child is alive and safe we suspect happy endings, but the abducted child will be haunted for the rest of their life. Not only did the life of the abducted child change, his or her family life has drastically changed as well. It’s one of the most psychologically devastation crimes of all. Child abduction can cause emotional and mental scars that the victims must struggle with when dealing with trust, independence, love, sex and respect. For instance, if the child was captured by the same sex it will be hard for them to trust or respect the people surrounding them. The assault could make them choose to become abstinence forever. The physical health is affected because they will become aware of their surroundings, who they socialize with, how they carry themselves, and more. The mental health is disturbed because the child will eventually think negatively about everything verbally or nonverbally. Their spiritual health can change because they will feel as if they are not safe. They will feel like they cannot put their faith in anyone. Their morals or goals will also switch up.
