Don’t you think it is ridiculous that children nowadays work in big companies and don’t even get paid minimum wage? This is called child labor and I strongly disagree that teens of the age of fourteen or fifteen don’t get paid as an adult, but they do the adults job. My question is, should we buy products that have been manufactured by child labor? No, we shouldn’t buy products that have been manufactured by child labor because the children’s health will start being exposed to many damaging things for the human body and children do not get paid minimum wage. To begin with, child labor should be banned and people shouldn’t buy products that have been manufactured with the use of child labor. If children work, then they help out with family economic issues. According to the article, “This Company Is Employing Children?” it explains that “Earning money is an unavoidably necessity for them,” this is saying that even if they get kicked out of a job, then they will find another job. Some children in many countries are forced to work because their parents need the money. In this same article it also states that “ when the U.S. Congress threanted to ban the import of clothing made by children under 14 in Bangladesh, around 50,000 of them went from their jobs in the relatively clean textile factories to collecting garbage,” this is a perfect example on why some children should stay in their jobs. Also, it says in the article, “This Company Is Employing Children,” that in other cultures, children are expected to help their family by working. To have a good childhood doesn’t just mean to have fun and play it also means to educate yourself and help out to grow up
