Many individuals have questioned whether a person under the age of eighteen should be tried as an adult? This question has sparked not only victims’, but also the criminal justice court system. The justice court systems have been lenient on the perpetrators simply because of how young they look or even look like they are not capable of thinking such a negative way. Today, rates seem to increase amongst the world’s most committed crime along the majority of the youth group. Big or small, a crime is a crime. Individuals mature at different ages, however that should not be an excuse for a person to not know what is right from wrong. Violence is triggered in people’s mindsets as a “fun” sport or satisfaction to grieve about or take out one’s anger on. Alongside from playing a part in favoritism of violence, many of these kids can be victims of it as well, considering that there is a possibility that some adolescents were raised in that certain environment.
