I can infer this because on page 22 Gram says “You and Kevin were making friends?” then Max thinks to himself making friends? What a wet idea that is. This tells me that Max isn’t very enthusiastic about making friends.

Freak the Mighty: Looking Past the Appearance In the novel, Freak the Mighty by, Rodman Philbrick Max and Kevin, two best friends, are throughout the book being judged by other people on their appearances. Max a big, tall, strong, dyslexic boy always gets judged about his dad and how his dad murdered his mom. People always are scared of him and mistake him for his dad.
When thinking about all of the qualities that help build a strong friendship, always lending a hand will make you stay friends even longer. Being a helpful friend can always make you more of a leader. In both Thank You, Mr. Falker by Patricia Polacco and Fox by Margaret Wild and Ron Brooks, the central characters, Mr. Falker and Tricia, and Dog and Magpie develop a strong friendship from Mr. Falker helping Tricia and Dog and Magpie helping each other. The road to building this relationship has a lot of similarities and differences between the two texts. In both texts, Mr. Falker always helps Tricia, and Dog always helps Magpie.

Well, in the book, “Having Our Say,” by Amy Hill Hearth, with her main characters of Sarah L. Delany as Sadie, and Elizabeth A. Delany as Bessie, tell their story about their struggles and accomplishments when growing up in the late 1800s. However, they hold a very strong position of life long issues such as, religion, racial equality, and valiancy. The sisters had very unique personalities that described who they were. In my opinion, I strongly feel I have an association with the Delany sisters, especially with Bessie.
Both ‘Of Mice and Men’ and ‘I’m Not Scared’ are stories discussing the theme of dreams and reality. The tough life that the characters are facing in both stories has life-altering impact on their dreams. The friendship of the characters, the betrayal and innocence of major characters show the audience that reaching ‘the dream’ is not easy. ‘Of Mice and Men’ and ‘I’m Not Scared’ explain the powerful depiction of life; the honesty compared to disloyalty and the cruelty which is faced by characters, showing the audience that a strong ideology can sometimes become real, and can even put strong casualties and impacts. Both ‘I’m Not Scared’ and ‘Of Mice and Men’ show the existing relationships between the main characters are influenced by their own dreams.

Faith provides hope for a better life, it produces a reason for the unexplained. Faith is what drove the Middle ages to be the way it was. The middle ages started off as dark and rough, and humanity was losing hope on a positive outcome.
Anthropologist Edward T. Hall’s theory of high- and low-context culture helps us better understand the powerful effect culture has on communication. A key factor in his theory is context. This relates to the framework, background, and surrounding circumstances in which communication or an event takes place.
