The crusades was also a very sad and depressing time. Many people who didn 't even fight in the crusades had lost their lives because of the religion they believed in. If they were not the ones to lose their lives then they had lost someone important to them. Document 3 states that the crusades sometimes happened because christians were trying to take back their land from muslims. Some were only looking to fight for their religion but others had done it for fun.
The Crusades started in 1095 when Pope Urban II wanted to take back Jerusalem. I think the results of the Crusades was more positive than negative than positive since people lost interest in them. Not only that, they killed and abused many innocents. One of the reasons the Crusades were more negative is because people lost interest in them.

The Lost Boys of Sudan This page was about the boys that walk to the unknown because of a civil war. The villages were attacked at night, 26,000 boys escaped the village and survived, their families and sisters probably survived, died, or were enslaved. The boys walked for 14 years without food and water, and all they had to eat was leaves, berries, or mud. A few boys got exhausted and died from starvation or dehydration from walking for so long. The boys went to a few refugee camps, but they had to leave because they were attacked by government tank attacks, some either drowned, got shot, or got eaten by crocodiles.
