Christianity and Islam are two of the largest religions in the world today, and they both vary in so many ways, but are still practiced by many. These religions have different ideas about God, destiny, faith, sin, holiness, heaven, and hell. One thing they have in common is that they are both theistic religions. Christianity compared to Islam believes in a monotheistic God, the trinity, the father, the son, and the Holy Spirit. While Islam religion rely on a monolithic God, there is no other. In the Islam religion everyone who practices that religion has complete submission to the Prophet Muhammad and Allah. These laws were called the 10 commandments and were found in Exodus 20: 3-17. Christians were not to worship idols, use the lord’s name in vain, commit adultery and murder, steal, or lie against our neighbors. But as Christians we had to honor our parents, and have no other gods. The 10 commandments were God’s way of promising his people a promise land, after they went astray.
